Roles & Responsibilities Production Officer, Weaving
Achieve daily and monthly weaving production targets as per production plan.
Monitor loom efficiency, production output, machine utilization, and downtime.
Ensure smooth operation of looms and optimum utilization of manpower, yarn, and resources.
Supervise and guide operators and helpers to ensure productivity and discipline.
Monitor fabric quality and minimize weaving defects, rejection, and wastage.
Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Stores, Warping and Sizing for uninterrupted production.
Analyze production losses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain daily production, efficiency, downtime, and quality reports.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety requirements, 5S, and housekeeping standards.
Participate in QCC, Kaizen, TPM, and continuous improvement activities.
Conduct effective shift handover and communicate production-related issues.
Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, cost, and machine efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile
Diploma / B.E.



/ B.Tech in Textile Technology / Textile Engineering or equivalent.
25 years of relevant experience in Weaving Production in a textile manufacturing industry.
Positive knowledge of loom operations, weaving processes, production planning, and fabric quality.
Ability to monitor loom efficiency, production targets, downtime, and wastage.
Experience in manpower handling and shop-floor supervision.
Valuable problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, QCC, TPM, and safety practices will be an added advantage.
Willing to work in shifts and meet production targets.
