Role Description
The Apparel Sr. HR Executive – Law/Statutory Compliance is a full time, in office role based in Surat. The role involves overseeing HR operations related to labor law and statutory requirements, including maintaining compliance with PF, ESIC, gratuity, minimum wages, and other applicable regulations for the apparel sector. The person will draft, implement, and update HR policies, manage employee records, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external authorities for audits, inspections, and filings. Daily responsibilities include handling employee relations matters, supporting recruitment and onboarding from a compliance perspective, monitoring attendance and leave systems, and preparing HR compliance reports and documentation. The role also includes training supervisors and employees on HR policies, ensuring timely statutory payments and returns,



and recommending process improvements for better compliance and workplace practices.

Qualifications
Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience in HR functions within manufacturing or apparel settings.
Hands-on experience in HR Operations, including documentation, HRIS usage, payroll inputs, and statutory compliance processes.
Ability to develop, implement, and maintain HR Policies aligned with labor laws and organizational requirements.
Proven capability in Employee Relations, including grievance handling, disciplinary procedures, and promoting a respectful work environment.
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, statutory benefits, and compliance requirements relevant to the apparel industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR or labor law certifications are an advantage.
