Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary School Principal to lead Aga Khan School, Chitravad. The ideal candidate will bring strong academic leadership, operational management skills, and a deep commitment to child-centered education.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership
Ensure high academic standards and student achievement.
Lead curriculum planning and instructional strategies aligned with AKESI’s philosophy.
Supervise teaching methods, lesson plans, and classroom delivery.
Drive assessment systems (formative & summative) and data-driven decision-making.




Encourage teacher professional development and continuous learning.

Administration & Operations
Oversee day-to-day operations, school budget, and infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (Education Department & Board norms).
Supervise administrative, finance, maintenance, and support functions.
Maintain records, safety standards, and reporting systems.

Stakeholder Engagement
Build solid relationships with parents, staff, and community members.
Promote a culture of collaboration, respect, and open communication.
Represent the school in local networks and community forums.

Safety & Welfare
Ensure a secure, inclusive, and positive setting for students and staff.
Implement child protection and emergency response procedures.

Candidate Profile

Qualification:
Postgraduate degree in any discipline with B.Ed (mandatory).
