About the Role

Mahendra Transformers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities and ensure the timely availability of materials, components, and supplies required for smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
Source materials based on purchase requirements and production needs.
Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
Prepare purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation.
Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
Coordinate with production, stores, accounts, and other departments regarding material requirements.




Monitor pending orders and resolve supply-related issues.
Maintain vendor records, purchase data, quotations, and related documentation.
Assist in vendor evaluation and performance monitoring.
Ensure purchases are made within approved budgets and required quality standards.
Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare regular purchase reports for management.

Requirements
1–2 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in manufacturing or industrial organizations.
Graduate in any discipline; a degree/diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, Commerce, or a related field is an advantage.
Good knowledge of vendor management and purchase processes.
Solid negotiation and communication skills.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel and basic MS Office.
Ability to compare quotations and analyze prices.
Good follow-up and coordination skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
