Job Description – Fiber Splicer Roles & Responsibilities
Perform fiber optic cable splicing using fusion splicing machines.
Carry out fiber jointing, termination, and testing as per standards.
Identify and troubleshoot fiber faults and link issues.
Conduct OTDR and power meter testing to ensure signal quality.
Perform fiber cable installation, maintenance, and restoration activities.
Maintain proper fiber routing, dressing, and joint closures.
Follow safety procedures while working at sites and during field activities.
Coordinate with the team for fault restoration and network maintenance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: SSC & Above
Experience: 0–4 Years
Basic knowledge of fiber optics and splicing techniques.
Ability to work in field conditions and handle fiber tools/equipment.
Positive teamwork and communication skills.
