Job Responsibilities
Generate new business opportunities and develop customers for road construction and asphalt plant equipment.
Visit construction companies, contractors, infrastructure companies and government/private project sites to understand their equipment requirements.
Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable products such as Asphalt Plants, Batch Mix Plants, Drum Mix Plants, Mobile Hot Mix Plants and Road Rollers.
Prepare quotations, commercial proposals and technical details as per customer requirements.
Conduct product presentations and explain machine specifications,
features and benefits to customers.
Coordinate with the design, production, service and technical teams for customer requirements.
Follow up with customers from enquiry to quotation, negotiation, order confirmation and delivery.
Maintain solid relationships with existing customers and develop new customers.
Conduct regular market visits and identify recent projects and sales opportunities.
Achieve assigned sales targets and submit regular sales reports to management.
Handle customer queries and coordinate with the service team for after-sales support.
Study competitor products, pricing and market trends.
Travel to customer locations and project sites as required.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of mechanical engineering and heavy machinery.
Basic understanding of Asphalt/Hot Mix Plants, Road Rollers and road construction equipment.
Good technical communication and customer-handling skills.
