About the Role

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting, financial records, fee collections, banking, statutory compliance and financial reporting of the institution.

The ideal candidate should have robust practical knowledge of Tally/ERP, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, fee accounting and educational-institution accounting, with excellent attention to detail and financial discipline.

Required Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification preferred.
Solid practical knowledge of accounting principles.
Good knowledge of Tally Prime / accounting ERP and MS Excel.
Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
Positive understanding of bank reconciliation and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.
Record all receipts, payments, purchases, expenses and journal entries.
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and maintain ledgers, vouchers and supporting documents.




Ensure proper classification of income and expenses.
Maintain separate accounting records for relevant entities, branches or activities as required.
Perform monthly closing of accounts.
Student Fee Accounting
Maintain student-wise fee records.
Record tuition fees, hostel fees and other student-related receipts.
Monitor outstanding fees and prepare ageing reports.
Coordinate with the admissions and administration teams regarding fee collections.
Reconcile fee collections with bank statements and payment gateways.
Generate regular fee collection and outstanding reports.
Follow up on pending payments as per institutional policies.
Banking & Reconciliation
Maintain records of all bank transactions.
Perform monthly bank reconciliation for all bank accounts.
Verify deposits, withdrawals, transfers and charges.
Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
