Position: Accountant and Admin Executive

Location: Thampanoor, Trivandrum

Summary: To maintain day-to-day accounting operations, billing, collections, payments, bank reconciliation, vendor/customer accounts, travel-related financial records and basic statutory compliance while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting

Job Responsibility:
Daily Accounting
Record daily sales, expenses, receipts and payments.
Maintain proper books of accounts and accounting records.
Handle cash and bank transactions.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Track payments due from customers.
Follow up for outstanding customer payments.
Process and record supplier/vendor payments.
Invoicing & Billing
Prepare customer invoices and receipts.
Verify billing details and ensure accuracy.
Maintain records of all invoices and supporting documents.
Bank & Cash Reconciliation
Reconcile bank statements with company records.
Maintain daily cash records.
Identify and rectify discrepancies.
Travel-Related Accounting
Maintain accounts for tour packages, hotel bookings, transport,



tickets and other travel services.
Track advance payments received from clients and payments made to vendors.
Calculate tour-wise income, expenses and profitability.
Vendor & Customer Records
Maintain updated customer and supplier ledgers.
Verify vendor bills before processing payments.
Coordinate with the operations team regarding pending bills and payments.
MIS & Reporting
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly accounting reports.
Provide outstanding payment, expense and revenue reports to management.
Maintain tour-wise and branch-wise financial reports where required.
Documentation & Filing
Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, vouchers, bank statements and other financial documents.
Ensure all accounting entries have proper supporting documents.
Coordination
Coordinate with Sales, Operations, HR, Management, customers and vendors regarding financial matters.
