About the Role

The Pastry / Bakery Commis will assist the bakery and pastry production team with the preparation and production of a wide range of products.

The role is particularly suitable for freshers, 12th-pass candidates and students who have completed a diploma or certificate course in Bakery & Pastry and are looking to start their career in a skilled kitchen.





Key Responsibilities
Assist with the daily production of cakes, pastries, brownies, breads, cookies, desserts and other bakery products
Support weighing, scaling, mixing, baking, assembling and finishing
Follow standardized recipes and production procedures
Prepare ingredients and mise en place for daily production
Maintain consistency in product quality, taste, texture and portion size
Assist senior chefs with bulk production
Follow food safety, hygiene and kitchen safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment and production areas
Store and handle ingredients correctly
Follow FIFO and minimize ingredient wastage
Complete assigned production within the required timelines
