Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Storage Migration Engineer with expertise in planning and executing enterprise SAN, NAS, and Block Storage migration projects across multi-vendor storage platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with storage migration tools, migration planning, cloud migrations, and enterprise storage technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, design, and execute SAN, NAS, and Block Storage migration projects.
Perform file and block migrations using industry-standard migration tools.
Execute storage migrations across enterprise storage platforms with minimal business disruption.
Prepare migration plans, runbooks, implementation documents, and rollback procedures.
Perform storage provisioning, replication, and performance tuning.
Troubleshoot migration-related issues and perform root cause analysis.
Work closely with customers, project managers, and infrastructure teams throughout the migration lifecycle.
Support storage upgrades, disaster recovery activities, and post-migration validation.

Required Skills




Robust experience in SAN, NAS, and Block Storage migrations.
Hands-on experience with migration tools such as Komprise, Datadobi, Parsec, Cirrus Data Migration (CMC/CMO), or equivalent.
Experience with enterprise storage platforms including NetApp, Pure Storage, Hitachi, EMC PowerMax/VMAX, or HPE 3PAR.
Experience with storage replication technologies.
Valuable understanding of Brocade and Cisco SAN switches, zoning, masking, and LUN provisioning.
Experience with VMware settings and Storage vMotion is preferred.
Knowledge of Windows, Linux, UNIX (AIX/HP-UX) storage administration.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer communication skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud storage migrations (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Exposure to Agile project delivery.
Relevant storage certifications (NetApp, Pure Storage, Hitachi, EMC, Brocade, or Cloud certifications).
