Role & responsibilities
Support day-to-day quality inspection and quality control activities on the shop floor.
Monitor product and process parameters to ensure compliance with specified quality standards.
Conduct root cause analysis for internal quality issues, defects and customer-related concerns.
Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Assist in preparation and maintenance of quality-related documents and reports.
Support PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA and SPC activities.
Monitor process capability and identify prospects for quality improvement.
Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams for resolution of quality issues.
Support analysis of rejection, rework, scrap and defect data.
Participate in continuous improvement / Kaizen activities.
Assist in internal process audits and compliance activities.




Ensure adherence to defined quality procedures, work instructions and control plans.
Support customer and supplier quality activities whenever required.
Prepare daily/weekly quality reports using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Maintain proper records of inspection results, defects and corrective actions.

Preferred candidate profile
Strong interest in Quality and Automotive Manufacturing.
Basic understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of basic quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis and Pareto Analysis.
Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
