Position Summary

Role Overview

The Sector Head Urban Planning & Infrastructure will lead the overall Urban Planning & Infrastructure practice, providing strategic, technical and operational leadership for the sector domestically & internationally. The role involves driving sector excellence & growth, overseeing project delivery, mentoring multidisciplinary teams, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of developments in urban planning, infrastructure and smart city initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and strengthen the overall Urban Planning & Infrastructure practice, defining the sector's strategic direction and growth roadmap (domestically & internationally).




Provide technical leadership and oversight across all urban planning and infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, timely delivery and adherence to best practices.
Monitor project performance, resolve critical technical issues and support project teams in successful execution.
Stay abreast of emerging policies, urban development programmes, technologies, funding mechanisms and industry trends to identify current prospects and enhance organizational capabilities.
Guide & drive Business Development team by providing sector insights, technical inputs and client engagement support during pursuits and proposals.
Build and mentor a high-performing multidisciplinary technical team, driving capability development and knowledge sharing.
Represent the organization in high-level meetings, conferences and interactions with government agencies, clients, urban local bodies and development partners.
