Role & responsibilities
Execute technology transfer and scale-up of API manufacturing processes from R&D; to commercial manufacturing.
Prepare and review technology transfer, scale-up and process engineering documents.
Evaluate lab processes, conduct scale-up calculations, what-if studies, and process trials.
Conduct HazOp/PHA studies and ensure process safety measures.
Prepare material & energy balances, process cost analysis and identify cost-reduction prospects.
Assess manufacturing capacity and develop capacity enhancement plans.
Prepare CAPEX documents, PFDs, P&IDs; and basic engineering packages.
Support production in deviation investigation, troubleshooting, CAPA and process optimization.
Monitor process validation batches and maintain technical data for archival.
Develop and implement solvent and catalyst recovery/recycling processes to improve yield, cost and sustainability.
Coordinate with R&D;, Production, Safety, Engineering and SRP teams for successful project execution
