Job Summary

ACETECH is looking for an experienced Fabrication Fitter to join our fabrication and production team. The candidate will be responsible for fabrication fit-up, assembly, alignment, marking, cutting, and preparation of components as per engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
Read and understand engineering/fabrication drawings and dimensions.
Perform marking, measuring, cutting, grinding, drilling, and fit-up of fabricated components.
Carry out accurate fit-up of plates, pipes, structural components, and assemblies.
Perform alignment, leveling, and dimensional checking before welding.
Work with welders to ensure proper joint preparation and fabrication quality.
Handle heavy fabrication and structural fabrication work.
Use measuring tools such as measuring tape, vernier caliper, square, level, and other fabrication tools.
Ensure proper positioning and alignment of components as per drawings.




Identify dimensional or fabrication issues and report them to the supervisor/engineer.
Maintain valuable housekeeping and follow workplace safety procedures.
Coordinate with production, welding, and quality-control teams.
Ensure work is completed within the planned production schedule.

Required Skills & Qualifications
ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Fabrication, or a related trade preferred.
2–5 years of experience in fabrication fitting.
Positive knowledge of fabrication processes and tools.
Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.
Experience in heavy fabrication, structural fabrication, pipe fabrication, or equipment fabrication is an advantage.
Knowledge of welding fit-up and joint preparation.
Ability to accurately measure and maintain dimensions.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Safety-conscious and disciplined.
