Plan and supervise daily production activities as per the production schedule.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Allocate manpower and workstations effectively according to production requirements.
Monitor machine utilization, production output, downtime, rejection, and productivity.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process parameters.
Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective actions to minimize downtime and delays.
Coordinate with the Maintenance team for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
Coordinate with Quality team to control rejection, rework, and process-related quality issues.
Ensure availability and proper utilization of raw materials, tools, fixtures, and consumables.
Maintain production records, shift reports, rejection reports, downtime reports, and other relevant documentation.
Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to 5S practices on the shop floor.
Ensure compliance with safety rules, PPE requirements,



and company policies.
Train, guide, and motivate operators and production workers.
Monitor operator performance, discipline, attendance, and work allocation.
Implement productivity and process-improvement initiatives.
Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous-improvement activities.
Investigate production problems and implement preventive and corrective actions.
Ensure proper handling and care of machines, tools, gauges, and equipment.
Conduct shift handovers and communicate production status and pending issues.
Support audits and ensure compliance with applicable quality and safety systems.

Required Skills
Valuable knowledge of engineering/manufacturing production processes.
Knowledge of machining, fabrication, assembly, or relevant manufacturing processes.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand technical specifications.
