Job Role: Dental Assistant

Job Description
Prepare patients for dental examinations and treatments.
Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing instruments and managing suction.
Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment according to infection-control procedures.
Take dental X-rays where certified and legally permitted.
Prepare treatment rooms before patient appointments.
Ensure all required dental instruments, materials, and supplies are available.
Maintain proper inventory of dental supplies.
Monitor stock levels and arrange for ordering of required materials.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas.
Follow infection-control procedures and workplace safety standards.
Support the dentist and clinical team in providing effective patient care.

Inventory Management
Maintain inventory of dental instruments, consumables, and supplies.
Monitor stock levels and arrange orders when required.
Ensure necessary materials are available before procedures.

X-Ray Assistance
Take dental X-rays only where appropriately certified and legally permitted.
Follow proper safety and handling procedures for dental radiography.
