Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Freight Broker to join our US Logistics team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in freight brokerage operations, carrier management, load booking, rate negotiation, and maintaining strong relationships with shippers and carriers.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end freight brokerage operations for US-based shipments.
Source, qualify, and build relationships with reliable carriers.
Negotiate freight rates with carriers to ensure profitability.
Coordinate with shippers, carriers, and internal teams for smooth shipment execution.
Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers.
Handle carrier inquiries, documentation, and issue resolution.
Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and revenue growth.
\Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Freight Broker in the US logistics industry.
Solid understanding of US trucking, freight lanes, and carrier networks.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
Valuable knowledge of load boards and freight management processes.
Strong problem-solving and customer-handling skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with US shippers and carriers.
Knowledge of tools like DAT, Truckstop, or similar freight platforms.
Proven ability to meet targets and achieve revenue goals.
