Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electronic circuits, schematics and PCB layouts for EV controllers, motor controllers and power electronics.
Select components and prepare BOM, Gerber files and manufacturing documents.
Design single/multi-layer PCBs with proper component placement, routing, grounding and thermal considerations.
Develop, test and debug electronic prototypes and PCB assemblies.
Troubleshoot hardware issues and support design validation and product testing.
Coordinate with embedded software, mechanical teams, & testing teams.
Work with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors for prototype and production requirements.
Improve existing electronic and PCB designs based on testing and field requirements.
Required Skills
Solid knowledge of analog/digital electronics and PCB design.
Hands-on experience with Altium, KiCad, OrCAD/Allegro or similar tools.
Understanding of power electronics, EMI/EMC, signal integrity and grounding.
Positive knowledge of electronic components, datasheets and circuit design.
Knowledge of CAN, motor controllers and embedded systems is an advantage.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, E&TC; or related field.
Preferred Experience
Experience in EV electronics, motor controllers, BLDC/PMSM/SRM, power electronics or automotive electronics.
