Job Title: Head of Production AGM / DGM

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Head of Production (AGM/DGM) to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations in a high-mix, high-volume automotive setting. The role will be responsible for production, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, safety and operational excellence, with solid ownership of unionized workforce and industrial relations.

Key Responsibilities
Lead daily production operations to achieve volume, mix, quality and delivery targets.
Manage high SKU complexity, changeovers, capacity utilization, line balancing and manpower deployment.
Lead a large unionized workforce, including industrial relations, wage discussions, grievance handling and statutory compliance.
Drive OEE, FPY, productivity, SMED, TPM,



Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, VDA and OEM requirements.
Drive zero-defect culture, traceability, poka-yoke, 8D, RCA and layered process audits.
Partner with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, SCM and Engineering for production and delivery performance.
Support APQP, PPAP, NPI and SOP readiness.
Promote safety, cost reduction, manpower optimization and digital shopfloor improvements.
Lead and develop production managers, supervisors and frontline teams.
Solid knowledge of Lean, SMED, TPM, IATF, VDA, APQP and PPAP.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
