Role & responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, motors, and control systems across the plant.
Carry out routine preventive maintenance checks on electrical equipment and machinery.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults quickly to minimize production downtime.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and protocols at all times.
Coordinate with the Shift Supervisor on urgent breakdowns or equipment issues.
Maintain records of maintenance work, repairs, and spare parts usage.
Support installation of current machinery or electrical upgrades as required.
Ensure proper earthing, load management, and adherence to fire/electrical safety norms.
Assist in energy-efficiency initiatives where applicable.
