Job Description – General Manager (Restaurant / Hospitality)

Job Title: General Manager
Department: Operations
Reporting To: Director / Owner

Key Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for smooth daily restaurant operations.
Manage and supervise all departments: Kitchen, Service, Cashier, Housekeeping and Support Staff.
Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor daily sales, expenses, food cost and overall profitability.
Control staff attendance, discipline, grooming and performance.
Conduct daily staff briefings and ensure proper shift management.
Ensure food quality, hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
Monitor inventory, stock, wastage and purchasing requirements.
Coordinate with vendors and ensure timely procurement.
Train,



motivate and evaluate employees.
Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety and government regulations.
Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly operational reports to management.
Work towards achieving sales targets and improving business growth.

Requirements
Experience: 3–7 years in Restaurant/Hotel Operations
Robust leadership and team-management skills.
Valuable communication and problem-solving ability.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, costing and inventory control.
Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple departments.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
