Position description: Overseeing corporate secretarial activities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and contributing to effective governance practices within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:
Managing day-to-day corporate secretarial activities, including maintaining statutory registers, preparing resolutions, and facilitating compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assisting in the coordination and execution of board meetings, including the preparation of meeting agendas, minutes, and supporting materials, to ensure adherence to governance standards.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external service providers to facilitate the timely filing of statutory documents and regulatory submissions.
Providing support in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements, with a focus on corporate governance implications.




Conducting legal research and analysis related to corporate secretarial matters, staying informed about regulatory changes, and advising on their impact on the organization.
Assisting in the development and implementation of corporate governance policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance compliance awareness within the organization.
Coordinating with legal and finance teams to ensure accurate record-keeping and maintenance of corporate documents and records.
Responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding corporate governance and secretarial matters.
Participating in the organization's corporate transactions, mergers, and acquisitions by providing support in due diligence and compliance matters.
Supervising and mentoring junior secretarial staff, fostering their career development and ensuring productive secretarial operations.
