Job Opening: Cost Accountant

Position: Cost Accountant
Location: Nalagarh Plant, Samrat HPL
Salary: ₹30,000 per month
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years

Job Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate cost sheets and product costing.
Monitor manufacturing costs and analyze cost variances.
Prepare monthly MIS reports related to production and costing.
Conduct inventory valuation and reconciliation of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
Support budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, and Finance departments for cost optimization.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.
Assist in monthly and annual financial closing activities related to costing.
Perform physical stock verification and reconcile inventory records.




Recommend cost-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
CMA (Cost & Management Accountant) qualification will be preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
Valuable knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and costing techniques.
Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
