Essential Qualification
MBA/PGDM in Human Resource Management, Personnel Management, Labour Welfare, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University with a consistently sound academic record.
Sound knowledge of Human Resource Management practices, labour laws, statutory compliance, recruitment processes, and employee relations.

Desirable Qualification
Ph.D. in Human Resource Management, Management, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
Skilled certification in Human Resource Management will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of UGC regulations, NEP 2020, NAAC/NBA requirements, HRMS/ERP systems, payroll management, and higher education governance.
Excellent drafting, policy formulation, communication, and leadership skills.

Experience
Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resource Management.
At least 7 years in a senior managerial or leadership position.
Experience in universities, higher educational institutions, research organizations, or reputed corporate organizations is highly desirable.




Proven experience in strategic HR planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, policy development, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the University's Human Resource policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives.
Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and induction of academic, administrative, and technical personnel.
Establish transparent performance appraisal, promotion, and employee development systems.
Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory regulations, and University policies.
Maintain employee service records, HR documentation, payroll coordination, and HRMS/ERP systems.
Develop employee welfare, engagement, training, and leadership development programmes.
Coordinate grievance redressal, disciplinary proceedings, and POSH compliance.
