Position: Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: IOCL Panipat Refinery, Panipat, Haryana

Qualification
B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Experience Requirements
Hands-on experience in operation, maintenance, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in refinery, oil & gas, petrochemical, power plant, or industrial settings.
Strong experience in Substation Operations and Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
Operation and maintenance of electrical substations, switchgear, transformers, and associated equipment.
Monitor and maintain HT/LT power distribution systems to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
Carry out testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of transformers, circuit breakers, protection relays, batteries, and UPS systems.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, refinery regulations,



and statutory requirements.
Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions to improve system reliability.
Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and project teams for shutdowns, modifications, and commissioning activities.
Maintain maintenance records, reports, logbooks, and technical documentation.
Supervise contractors and ensure secure execution of electrical maintenance activities.
Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency response activities.
