Position Summary

GIRAH Care is seeking a qualified and compassionate Certified Pharmacist to oversee medication dispensing, ensure regulatory compliance, support home healthcare operations, and provide medication counseling to patients and caregivers.

The Pharmacist will play a critical role in ensuring secure, accurate, and timely delivery of medicines to patients receiving care at home.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Pharmacy Operations




Review and validate prescriptions received from physicians.
Dispense medications accurately in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Verify dosage, frequency, route, and potential drug interactions.
Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage of medicines.
Maintain inventory of medicines, consumables, and medical supplies.
Monitor expiry dates and ensure timely removal of expired products.
Coordinate medicine procurement from authorized distributors and manufacturers.
Support medication reconciliation for home healthcare patients.

Patient Care
Educate patients and caregivers on:
Medication usage
Dosage schedules
Storage requirements
Potential side effects
Drug interactions
Counsel patients on chronic disease medications including:
Diabetes
Hypertension
Cardiac conditions
Respiratory diseases
Respond to patient medication-related inquiries.
