Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience for candidates with B.Tech/BE in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
Minimum 6 years of experience for candidates with Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
Must have hands-on experience in refractory works along with hot & cold insulation Job Summary:

The Refractory Engineer is responsible for the planning, execution, and supervision of refractory works, insulation works (hot & cold), in industrial projects. The engineer will ensure refractory materials and insulation systems are installed per project requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Refractory & Insulation Work Execution
Supervise and execute refractory installation, repair, and maintenance in industrial furnaces, kilns, boilers, and other high-temperature equipment.
Plan and oversee hot & cold insulation works including pipelines, equipment, and structures.
Select appropriate refractory materials such as fire bricks, cast able,



ceramic fiber, and insulating concretes based on project specs and requirements/ needs.
Project Coordination & Supervision
Lead and monitor insulation and refractory teams for quality and safety compliance.
Coordinate with site teams for proper execution and meet project timelines.
Ensure adherence to engineering drawings, specifications, and client requirements .
Quality Control & Inspection
Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper refractory installation and insulation application.
Identify defects or failures in refractory linings and insulation systems and recommend corrective measures.
Ensure work aligns with international refractory and insulation standards (ASTM, API, ISO, BS).
Safety & Risk Management
Enforce safety protocols for refractory works, hot & cold insulation ,
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and implement risk mitigation strategies.
