Job description
Responsible for following up with Insurance Payers for outstanding accounts receivable on behalf of medical providers/physicians/clinics.
Prioritize the AR basket based on aging and insurances
Should be able to investigate and escalate the pending claims
Should be able to handle the denials of the claims
Should be able to call the insurance payers in USA time zone while following the HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
Should be able to escalate the claims based on timely filling.
Should be able to review the unpaid claims and take appropriate action
Knowledge of preparing and sending appeals for denied claims that are in dispute with the payers
Excellent end to end hands on experience in Medical Revenue Cycle Management including all billing functions such as charge creation/ Dx codes/CPT codes/Modifiers/denial codes/
