Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Furniture Design Engineer to understand design requirements from domestic and overseas buyers/clients and translate them into accurate, production-ready designs — quickly and efficiently — to help secure project orders. Candidates with a background in metal furniture design and/or the sheet metal industry are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret design briefs and requirements from overseas and domestic clients/buyers
Develop and finalize product designs in coordination with the design team
Coordinate with the Projects team to prepare product costing based on approved drawings
Coordinate with the Manufacturing department to ensure production aligns with approved drawings
Support order finalization by delivering designs within required timelines

Technical Skills Required
Expertise in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SolidEdge, and Pro-E for product design (2D & 3D)
Solid understanding of design calculations and product costing
Basic knowledge of laser cutting, punching,



and bending machine processes
Hands-on experience in sheet metal, fabrication, and hard goods furniture design

Behavioral / Other Skills
Robust written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office and PowerPoint for client presentations
Robust problem-solving ability and quick learner
Comfortable coordinating across design, costing, and manufacturing teams
