CAD proposal generation using CATIA
Understanding of target setting for Visibility, Package, and Usability (FI) requirements.
Aware of vehicle-level homologation requirements and ability to propose compliant design solutions.
Understanding of occupant-related hardpoints and parameters as per SAE J1100 terminology.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop occupant packaging targets.
Generate vehicle-level target zones for exterior and interior packaging.
Develop occupant posture models and define target zones.
Assess CAS (Computer-Aided Styling) surfaces against packaging and ergonomic targets.
Prepare Design Verification Plan (DVP) reports.
Participate in design reviews and provide packaging recommendations during product development.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)




Bachelor’s Engineering degree in Mech or related discipline.
2+ years of experience in vehicle top hat packaging/ergonomics/interiors design
Experience with PLM and virtual tools such as Prisma Carisma, Teamcenter, Vismock.
Proficiency with CAD and digital tools (e.g., CATIA V5/V6, 3Dx)
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute engineering or ergonomic projects independently and in teams.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn standards and simulation results into actionable recommendations.
Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels and across regions.
Proven ability to manage multiple customers and priorities while maintaining quality and on-time delivery.
