Summary
In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, with strong experience in cloud platform engineering, infrastructure automation, containerized environments, CI/CD, networking, security, and production operations to support and enable enterprise IoT platform environments.

The role will focus on building scalable, secure, highly available, and automated cloud infrastructure supporting IoT applications, services, and data platforms across cloud and hybrid environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure supporting IoT platforms and connected application workloads.
Provision and manage cloud infrastructure across GCP and AWS using Infrastructure as Code and automation.
Build and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, including GKE/EKS cluster operations, deployments, ingress configuration, and rolling updates.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Google Cloud Build, and AWS Code Build for automated build, testing, and deployment.
Implement secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments using VPC, VPN, firewalls, network segmentation, and load balancing.
Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability for IoT platform infrastructure using Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, ELK Stack, Grafana, Cloud Watch, and Cloud Trail.




Implement cloud security controls including IAM, RBAC, MFA, PAM, DLP, WAF, and Conditional Access.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational activities using Terraform, Python, Bash, and Power Shell.
Support production deployments, incident management, change management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and disaster recovery activities.
Collaborate with application, platform, security, and engineering teams to ensure reliable and secure IoT platform operations.

Contribute to optimization and automation initiatives to improve platform scalability, availability, deployment efficiency, and operational performance.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must Have: Solid experience in Cloud Platform Engineering / Dev Ops with 8+ years of relevant experience.

Hands-on experience with GCP and/or AWS cloud platforms.
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker, preferably GKE/EKS environments.
Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
Hands-on experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or cloud-native build services.
Good understanding of cloud networking, including VPC, VPN, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and network segmentation.
Experience with cloud security and identity management, including IAM, RBAC, MFA, and WAF.
Strong experience in monitoring and observability using tools such as Grafana, ELK, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Watch, and Cloud Logging.
Strong Linux administration and scripting experience using Python, Bash, or Power Shell.




Experience supporting production environments, incident management, RCA, change management, and disaster recovery.

Good understanding of scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure architectures.

Valuable to Have: Experience supporting or operating IoT platforms and connected-device application environments.

Understanding of IoT platform architecture, device-to-cloud communication, telemetry/data ingestion, and IoT application infrastructure.
Exposure to NVIDIA technologies, including NVIDIA NGC Registry, DGX Cloud, or NVIDIA Omniverse.
Experience with Git Ops and Argo CD for Kubernetes deployment automation.
Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and GPU-accelerated application deployments.
Experience developing automation or operational tools using Python.
Knowledge of hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments.

Cloud certifications such as AWS, GCP, or equivalent Dev Ops/Cloud certifications.

This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional engineering, application, security, and operations teams.
The candidate should be comfortable working in cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments supporting enterprise-scale platforms.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills are required.
Experience in production support and maintaining SLA-driven environments will be an advantage.

The role may involve supporting scalable IoT platform infrastructure, cloud-native applications, containerized workloads, and associated platform services.
