Job Overview

A reputed textile company in Surat is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong experience in handling end-to-end accounting operations. This role is ideal for candidates from the textile trading or manufacturing industry who are well-versed in GST filings, account finalization, and financial reporting using ERP-based accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle daily accounting entries including purchase, sales, expenses, and journal entries.

- Prepare and file GST returns, manage TDS compliance, and ensure timely tax documentation.

- Conduct bank reconciliations, manage petty cash, and monitor cash flows.

- Support in finalization of accounts and monthly/annual closures.

- Maintain ledgers,



perform reconciliation with vendors and customers.

- Assist during internal and external audits and ensure audit-ready records.

- Coordinate with internal departments for timely documentation and reporting.

- Generate MIS reports and maintain proper financial documentation.

Requirements

- Experience: Around 3 or 3+ years of experience in accounting.

- Proficient in ERP-based accounting software like Tripta/Tally etc.

- Strong understanding of GST regulations, TDS filing, and compliance management.

- Ability to work independently and handle end-to-end accounting tasks.

- Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
