- Perform detailed stress analysis using software such as CAESAR II.
- Develop stress isometric drawings and stress reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (ASME B31.3, B31.1).
- Review and approve piping layouts to ensure flexibility and support adequacy.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve interface issues.
- Conduct stress analysis for critical piping systems, including high-temperature and high-pressure lines.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, and construct ability reviews.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Support the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in piping design within EPC projects.
- Proficiency in stress analysis software (CAESAR II, AutoPIPE).
- Solid understanding of piping codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
