About the Role

HKM Charitable Foundation and Basil Woods School (BWS) are looking for a Creative Lead to own and drive video production across both organizations. This role is primarily focused on video — from concept to final cut — while also owning the broader creative content pipeline: decks, concepts, and campaign ideas that support our programs and communication goals.

You will lead a small creative/production team and be hands-on with mid-scale productions — planning, coordinating, and executing shoots, and guiding edits through to delivery. This is a role for someone who can think in concepts and decks, but is just as comfortable being on set or in the edit bay when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end video production for HKMCF and BWS — from concept, scripting, and pre-production through to shoot, edit, and final delivery.

Lead, mentor, and manage a creative/production team, assigning ownership and reviewing output across projects.

Plan and execute mid-level productions independently, managing timelines, resources, and quality across multiple concurrent projects.

Develop creative concepts, storyboards,



and treatment decks, and present these clearly to leadership and internal stakeholders.

Coordinate production logistics — locations, equipment, crew, and vendors/freelancers — for shoots across HKMCF and BWS.

Oversee post-production and edit workflows, ensuring consistent quality, pacing, and brand tone across all output.

Maintain and evolve visual and brand consistency across video and creative content for both organizations.

Manage project timelines and budgets, flagging risks and trade-offs early.

Must-Have Requirements

5–8 years of experience in video production or creative content, including experience leading or mentoring a team.

Demonstrated experience independently managing mid-to-large scale video productions end-to-end.

Strong conceptual and storytelling ability, with the confidence to build and pitch decks and concepts to stakeholders.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate across cross-functional teams.

Comfortable working on-site in Hyderabad, including on shoot days as required.

Good to Have

Hands-on shooting or editing expertise (camera operation, lighting, or proficiency in tools like Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut). This is strongly preferred and weighted heavily in selection — candidates with genuine hands-on craft will stand out, even though it is not an automatic disqualifier on its own.

Experience working with non-profit, spiritual, educational, or mission-driven organizations.

Familiarity with platform-specific content formats (Instagram/YouTube/short-form) and current content trends.
