Dotin Digital Academy is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor to join our EdTech content and marketing team. The candidate will be responsible for creating engaging educational videos, social media reels, promotional videos, course videos, advertisements and other digital content.

We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of visual storytelling, editing techniques and social-media-friendly content. Portfolio quality will be an important factor in the selection process.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos, Instagram Reels and YouTube content.
- Edit educational and course-related videos for digital platforms.
- Create promotional and marketing videos for courses and campaigns.
- Add transitions, text, subtitles, music, sound effects and other visual elements.
- Perform basic color correction and audio enhancement.
- Create engaging content suitable for Instagram, YouTube and other social platforms.
- Work with the content and marketing teams to understand video requirements.
- Maintain consistency in branding, fonts, colors and visual style.
- Create basic motion graphics and animations when required.
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form videos and reels.
- Manage multiple editing tasks and deliver projects within deadlines.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of video editing principles and storytelling.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent editing software.




- Basic knowledge of After Effects or other motion-graphics tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Canva or Photoshop for basic visual requirements is an advantage.
- Understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and social-media content.
- Good attention to detail.
- Creativity and willingness to experiment with new editing styles.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Good Malayalam communication skills.

Who Can Apply?

- Candidates with 6 months–1 year of relevant experience are preferred.
- Freshers with strong editing skills and an impressive portfolio can also apply.
- Candidates with academic projects, freelance work or personal content-creation experience are welcome.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
- Candidates must be willing to work on-site in Trivandrum.

Selection Criteria

Portfolio is a key part of the selection process. Candidates should be prepared to share their previous editing work, including reels, educational videos, promotional videos or other relevant projects.
