Job Title: Quality Executive (Modular Interior Factory)Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Executive to join our production team at our modular interior factory. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, in-process components, and finished modular furniture meet our strict quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Quality Inspection: Perform thorough quality checks on raw materials (plywood, MDF, laminates, hardware) and finished modular components (cabinets, wardrobes, kitchens).
- Dimensional & Fit Verification: Inspect dimensions, edge banding, drilling accuracy, alignment, and surface finishes to ensure compliance with production drawings.
- Tool Usage: Utilize basic measuring instruments (measuring tape, vernier caliper, spirit level, micrometers, thread gauges) to check tolerances.
- Process Monitoring: Monitor daily factory workflows to catch defects early in the cutting, routing, edge-banding, and assembly stages.
- Defect Reporting: Log quality non-conformance reports (NCRs), identify root causes of defects, and coordinate with the production team for corrective actions.
- Pre-Dispatch Audit:



Conduct final audits of packed goods before dispatch to ensure zero damage and complete hardware kits.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Production, Woodworking Technology, or a related field (10th/12th/ITI with relevant factory experience also welcomed).
- Experience: 0–3 years of quality control experience in manufacturing or woodworking (Freshers with a strong learning aptitude are encouraged to apply).
- Measuring Tools: Basic knowledge of measuring instruments OR a strong willingness and ability to learn on the job quickly.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for surface defects, alignment issues, shade variations, and dimensional inaccuracies.
- Communication: Ability to communicate defects and corrective steps clearly to floor supervisors and operators.

Preferred Skills

- Basic understanding of modular furniture manufacturing processes (cutting, edge banding, CNC drilling, assembly).
- Familiarity with reading 2D/3D technical drawings or production cut-lists.
- basic computer skills for logging daily inspection reports.
