Lawrence & Co, Chartered Accountants, a well-established CA firm with over 30 years of professional experience in Chennai, is looking for motivated and detail-oriented Accounts & Tax Professionals with 1–2 years of experience to join our team and build a strong career in Accounting, Taxation and Audit.

- Maintain books of accounts and pass journal entries accurately.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of GST and TDS returns.
- Assist with Income Tax compliance and audit assignments.
- Handle accounting and reconciliation work using Tally / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, schedules and management reports.
- Prepare audit working papers and maintain proper documentation.
- Perform bank, ledger and other relevant reconciliations.
- Coordinate with clients for obtaining information and documents required for accounting, taxation and audit assignments.




- Ensure timely completion of assigned compliance and accounting work.

Who Can Apply?

- Commerce / CA graduates with 1–2 years of relevant experience in a CA firm, accounting firm or similar professional environment.
- Good working knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Basic practical knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and accounting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team.
- Candidates who are detail-oriented, responsible and willing to learn are preferred.

Job Types: Full time, Fresher

Pay: ₹144,000.00 - ₹180,000.00 per year

- Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
