Responsibilities:

1. Ensure design and development activities comply with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and MACE requirements, including participation in Management Review Meetings and system audits.

2. Review process capability (Cp/Cpk), development trials data and statistical reports to ensure product and process stability before PPAP submission.

3. Lead structured root cause analysis for development-related customer complaints using tools such as Pareto, Fishbone, Why-Why and Control Charts.

4. Oversee APQP timing plans, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA and PPAP submissions; ensure effective cross-functional execution.

5. Review supplier readiness for current development projects and ensure supplier capability aligns with product requirements.

6. Ensure complete understanding of product specifications, critical characteristics and risks associated with non-conformance.

7. Drive mistake-proofing and continuous improvement initiatives in new product and process development.

8. Ensure product safety requirements and regulatory compliance are incorporated during design and development stages.

9. Approve engineering changes after evaluating feasibility, risk, customer impact and system updates.

10. Ensure implementation of 5S,



safe working practices and emergency preparedness in development areas.

11. Align development KPIs with company quality objectives and monitor monthly performance with action plans.

12. Establish visual dashboards for APQP status, trial results, risk register and project milestone

13. Ensure all customer-specific requirements, statutory norms and contingency plans are integrated into development planning.

14. Review and approve risk registers for development projects and ensure mitigation actions are implemented.

15. Communicate technical and non-technical development information clearly to customers and internal teams.

Authorities

1. Authority to communicate directly with customers regarding development matters.

2. Authority to lead CFT meetings for PFMEA, feasibility and OCR reviews.

3. Authority to approve engineering changes before submission.

4. Authority to demand corrective actions for development-related complaints or rejections.

5. Authority to represent company during customer visits and technical discussions.

6.Authority to Start & End of IPC

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
