Job Purpose

To manage, maintain, develop, and improve stamping tools and dies to ensure smooth production, quality, and timely availability of tools as per production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and coordinate stamping tool maintenance, repair, and modification activities.
- Ensure timely availability of dies, tools, and fixtures for production.
- Monitor tool condition and identify wear, damage, and abnormalities.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and PPC teams for tooling requirements.
- Maintain tooling history, maintenance records, tool life, and breakdown records.
- Support die setting, try-outs, and tool development activities.
- Coordinate with external tool vendors for tool manufacturing, repair, and modification.
- Analyse tooling-related rejections and implement corrective actions.
- Support improvement activities to increase tool life and reduce tooling breakdowns.
- Ensure proper identification, storage, and preservation of stamping dies and tools.
- Follow 5S, safety,



quality, and company procedures in the tool room.
- Assist in new tool development and modification as per customer and production requirements.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of stamping dies, press tools, and sheet-metal components.
- Basic knowledge of die components, tool materials, and tooling processes.
- Knowledge of tool maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and basic GD&T.;
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection methods.
- Positive coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD/SolidWorks will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of automotive stamping processes is preferred.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical, Production, Tool & Die Making, or a related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
