About the Role

PRIMA is looking for an experienced and patient-focused Aesthetic Therapist / Skin Therapist to join our clinical team.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant experience in aesthetic dermatology, cosmetology, skin clinics or similar environments and should be comfortable performing professional skin and aesthetic treatments under established clinical protocols.

The role requires strong hands-on treatment skills, patient communication, attention to hygiene and the ability to work closely with dermatologists and the clinical team.

Key ResponsibilitiesAesthetic & Skin Treatments

- Perform skin and aesthetic treatments as per doctor-approved protocols.
- Perform professional skin treatments such as facials, medi-facials, clean-ups and other approved aesthetic procedures.
- Assist with chemical peels, skin rejuvenation and other dermatology/aesthetic procedures as trained and authorised.
- Assist with laser-based treatments where appropriately trained.
- Operate aesthetic equipment safely and strictly follow clinic protocols.
- Provide appropriate pre-treatment and post-treatment care instructions.

Patient Care





- Understand patient concerns and communicate treatment procedures clearly.
- Ensure patients are comfortable before, during and after treatments.
- Explain treatment procedures, aftercare and follow-up requirements.
- Maintain a professional, courteous and patient-centric approach.
- Handle patient queries related to treatments within the scope of the role.
- Escalate any adverse reactions or clinical concerns to the dermatologist immediately.

Clinical Assistance

- Assist dermatologists during aesthetic and dermatology procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, equipment and consumables before procedures.
- Maintain proper hygiene, sterilisation and infection-control standards.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and patient documentation.
- Follow all clinic SOPs and safety protocols.

Equipment & Inventory

- Handle aesthetic equipment responsibly and according to training.
- Ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained as per protocol.
- Monitor treatment consumables and skincare products.
- Report equipment issues, damage or stock shortages to the concerned team.

Patient Experience & Follow-up

- Maintain a high standard of patient service.
- Coordinate with the front office and clinical team regarding treatment appointments.
- Support patient follow-up and treatment adherence.
- Build positive patient relationships through professional service.

Candidate Profile

Education:

- Diploma / Certification in Cosmetology, Aesthetics, Beauty Therapy, Skin Care or a related field.

Experience:

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience is mandatory.

Language Skills: English and Tamil preferred.
