About the Role

Glory Shipmanagement is looking for an experienced, competent, and hands-on Marine Superintendent to join our shore-based management team. You will take ownership of vessel operations, safety performance, and statutory compliance, effectively coordinating between vessels, management, Class, and maritime authorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day marine operations, safety, and operational readiness of assigned offshore support vessels. Provide operational guidance to Masters and vessel management teams, including during emergencies (willingness to work flexible schedule required).
- Conduct and attend internal/external audits, vessel inspections, and compliance monitoring. Handle DOC/SMC audits, Flag State Inspections, Port State Control, and Class Surveys. Prepare for and close out Non-Conformities (NCs), observations, and audit deficiencies.
- Ensure continuous adherence to ISM Code, ISPS Code, MLC 2006, SOLAS, MARPOL,



and other applicable Indian/International regulations.
- Coordinate vessel surveys, certifications, and liaise seamlessly with the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), Mercantile Marine Department (MMD), Classification Societies, Flag Administration, and other statutory bodies.
- Manage DP operations, documentation, FMEA, Annual DP Trials, and DP-related compliance.
- Investigate marine incidents, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives and safety drills.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Master Mariner (FG) with strong sailing experience in the rank of Master, ideally on offshore vessels.
- Minimum 2 years of prior shore experience as a Marine Superintendent or in a similar role.
- Sound operational knowledge of PSV, AHTS, DP1, and DP2 vessels.
- Thorough understanding of ISM, ISPS, Class, Flag State, and statutory requirements.
- Strong leadership, documentation, problem-solving, communication, and follow-up skills. Ability to work independently with vessel crews and external authorities.
