Remote Canadian Immigration Case Processing Specialist

About Bright Sky Immigration
Bright Sky Immigration is seeking an experienced Canadian Immigration Case Processing Specialist to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience preparing, reviewing, and managing Canadian immigration applications and be confident handling files independently from client intake through submission.
This position is best suited for an immigration skilled who has strong knowledge of IRCC policies and procedures, excellent documentation and file-management skills, and experience working across multiple Canadian immigration categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Canadian immigration files independently from initial intake through application submission.
- Prepare, review, and organize complete immigration applications in accordance with current IRCC requirements and procedures.
- Review client documentation for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and potential issues.
- Prepare and draft professional submission letters, explanation letters, procedural responses, and supporting documentation.
- Identify missing, inconsistent, or potentially problematic information and coordinate with clients to obtain clarification or additional documents.
- Respond to IRCC document requests, procedural correspondence, and application-related requests.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic client files and ensure all application deadlines are tracked.
- Monitor changes to Canadian immigration policies, programs, forms, and IRCC procedures.
- Ensure applications are prepared and submitted in compliance with applicable Canadian immigration requirements.
- Communicate professionally with clients and provide updates regarding application status and required documentation.
- Manage multiple client files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with other team members while being capable of working independently in a remote environment.
Immigration Categories — Required Experience
Candidates must have demonstrated professional experience handling one or more of the following Canadian immigration categories, with experience across multiple categories strongly preferred:
- Study Permits and Study Permit Extensions
- Post-Graduation Work Permits (PGWP)
- Spousal Sponsorship / Spousal Permanent Residence — Inland & Outland
- Permanent Residence Applications
- Express Entry
- Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP)
- Canadian Citizenship Applications
- LMIA-Based Work Permits
- Visitor Records
Required Qualifications
- Proven professional experience preparing and managing Canadian immigration applications.
- Strong working knowledge of IRCC application processes, documentation requirements, and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare complete applications with supporting documentation.
- Experience drafting professional submission letters and explanation letters.
- Experience responding to IRCC requests for additional documents or information.
- Strong document-review and quality-control skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple files, deadlines, and priorities independently.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable home-office setup.
- Willingness and ability to work overnight shifts to support Canadian operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing a high volume of Canadian immigration files.
- Experience independently handling files from client intake to final submission.
- Experience working with Canadian immigration consulting firms or law offices.
- Familiarity with IRCC online application systems and electronic document submission processes.
- Relevant education, certification, or professional training in Canadian immigration is an asset.
