CENTRE MANAGER
IBI International School of Beauty & Aesthetics
1. Job Purpose
The Centre Manager is responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day management of the IBI International Centre. The Centre Manager will be accountable for achieving the Centre's Top Line (Revenue/Admissions), ensuring student attendance and course progress, maintaining discipline and professional standards, and leading the Sales, Counselling, Faculty and Support teams effectively.
The Centre Manager is expected to act as the leader and custodian of the Centre, ensuring that the Centre operates efficiently, professionally and in accordance with IBI International's policies, SOPs and brand standards.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Business & Top Line Responsibility – PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
The Centre Manager is directly responsible for achieving the Centre's monthly and annual business targets.
- Achieve the monthly Top Line / Revenue target assigned to the Centre.
- Drive student admissions and ensure the Centre achieves its admission and collection targets.
- Review daily enquiries, counselling, follow-ups, conversions and admissions.
- Ensure every enquiry is properly followed up and no potential student is lost due to lack of follow-up.
- Work closely with Counsellors and Sales Team to improve conversion ratios.
- Monitor course-wise and counsellor-wise performance.
- Identify opportunities for additional admissions, upgrades and cross-selling of courses.
- Ensure timely fee collection from existing students.
- Monitor outstanding fees and take appropriate follow-up action.
- Conduct daily/weekly performance reviews with the Sales/Counselling Team.
- Take corrective action immediately when the Centre is falling behind its targets.
The Centre Manager should consider the Centre's Top Line as her primary business responsibility.
B. Student Management & Attendance
The Centre Manager is responsible for ensuring that students attend regularly and complete their courses successfully.
- Ensure daily student attendance is monitored.
- Review absenteeism and identify students with irregular attendance.
- Ensure counsellors/faculty follow up with absent students.
- Take corrective action for students with repeated absenteeism.
- Monitor student course progress and ensure students remain on schedule.
- Ensure students complete their required practicals, assessments and course requirements.
- Monitor students approaching course completion and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain a positive relationship with students while ensuring discipline.
- Address student complaints and grievances promptly.
- Escalate serious student issues to the management whenever required.
C. Faculty & Academic Management
The Centre Manager is responsible for ensuring that faculty members perform their duties effectively and students receive a consistent IBI International learning experience.
- Ensure faculty members report on time and follow their assigned schedules.
- Monitor faculty attendance, punctuality and discipline.
- Ensure classes are conducted as per the approved timetable and curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and practical training.
- Coordinate with the Technical/Academic Team wherever required.
- Ensure faculty maintain proper log sheets, practical records and student documentation.
- Ensure required models, products, tools and equipment are available for training.
- Monitor faculty performance and student feedback.
- Identify training requirements of faculty and communicate them to management.
- Encourage faculty to maintain professional standards and continuously improve their skills.
D. Team Leadership & People Management
The Centre Manager must take the entire team along and create a positive, accountable and performance-oriented work culture.
- Lead the Sales, Counselling, Faculty and Support Staff.
- Clearly communicate individual responsibilities and targets.
- Conduct regular team meetings.
- Set daily and weekly priorities for the team.
- Motivate staff to achieve their targets.
- Monitor individual performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Resolve internal team conflicts professionally.
- Ensure teamwork and cooperation between Sales and Faculty.
- Recognise good performance and encourage a culture of ownership.
- Address poor performance, negligence or indiscipline promptly.
- Build a team that is dependable, professional and aligned with IBI International's values.
The Centre Manager should lead the team—not merely supervise it.
E. Discipline, Punctuality & Time Management
The Centre Manager is the primary custodian of discipline at the Centre.
- Ensure the Centre opens and closes as per prescribed timings.
- Ensure all employees report on time.
- Monitor staff attendance and punctuality.
- Ensure faculty and staff follow their assigned working hours.
- Prevent unnecessary absenteeism, late coming and early departures.
- Ensure students follow Centre timings and discipline.
- Maintain a professional and respectful environment.
- Ensure meetings, classes, counselling and other activities start and finish on time.
- Ensure no staff member leaves the Centre during working hours without proper approval.
- Take appropriate action in cases of repeated indiscipline.
F. Centre Operations & Administration
- Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the Centre.
- Ensure classrooms, practical areas and reception are clean and organised.
- Ensure required equipment, products, tools and consumables are available.
- Monitor inventory and prevent unnecessary wastage.
- Ensure all Centre assets are properly maintained.
- Ensure proper documentation and records are maintained.
- Ensure all operational SOPs issued by IBI International are followed.
- Coordinate with Head Office for operational requirements.
- Ensure the Centre is always ready for inspections, visitors and management reviews.
G. Student Experience & Brand Standards
The Centre Manager is responsible for protecting the IBI International student experience and brand image.
- Ensure students and visitors are treated professionally and respectfully.
- Maintain qualified grooming and behaviour standards among staff.
- Ensure the Centre follows IBI International's branding guidelines.
- Ensure the Centre remains clean, organised and presentable.
- Monitor student satisfaction.
- Collect and act upon student feedback.
- Ensure complaints are handled professionally and promptly.
- Protect the reputation and goodwill of IBI International at the local level.
H. Reporting & Management Communication
The Centre Manager must maintain accurate and timely reporting to management.
Regularly monitor and report:
- Daily enquiries
- Counselling conducted
- Admissions
- Conversion ratio
- Daily/Monthly revenue
- Fee collections
- Outstanding fees
- Student attendance
- Student strength
- Course-wise student progress
- Faculty attendance
- Staff performance
- Complaints and grievances
- Major operational issues
The Centre Manager should not wait for management to identify a problem. Any major issue affecting revenue, students, staff, academics or the reputation of the Centre must be escalated proactively.
3. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Centre Manager should follow a structured daily routine:
Morning
- Check staff attendance and punctuality.
- Review student attendance.
- Review previous day's enquiries, follow-ups and admissions.
- Review today's counselling appointments.
- Review faculty timetable and class schedules.
- Conduct a short team briefing where required.
During the Day
- Monitor counselling and sales activity.
- Monitor classes and student attendance.
- Interact with students and faculty.
- Resolve operational issues.
- Follow up on important leads/collections.
- Ensure discipline and time management.
- Monitor overall Centre environment.
End of Day
- Review day's enquiries and follow-ups.
- Review admissions and revenue.
- Review attendance and absenteeism.
- Check pending tasks.
- Review next day's appointments/classes.
- Ensure daily reports are completed.
A Centre Manager is not successful merely because the Centre is running smoothly. The Centre Manager is successful when the Centre is growing, achieving its Top Line, students are attending and progressing, and the team is performing with discipline and ownership.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
