Job Summary
Network Operations Manager Job Title: Network Operations Manager Location: Noida or Chennai / Global Delivery Model Department: Network Operations Center (NOC) Reports To: Service Delivery Lead / Operations Director Role Summary The Network Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, performance, availability, and continuous improvement of enterprise network services. The role serves as the primary interface between customer leadership and operational teams, ensuring network stability, service excellence, SLA compliance, and operational governance across global delivery teams. This aligns with responsibilities described for Operations Managers and Network Operations leadership roles. Key Responsibilities Strong client relationship development Accountable for global service performance during the assigned shift hours Lead and manage Network Operations Center (NOC) teams supporting enterprise network environment. Ensure network availability, performance, and service continuity across WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, wireless, security, and cloud-connected infrastructures. Drive improvement, incident, problem, change, and escalation management processes. Attend Major Incident Calls to ensure proper representation and support is being rendered and assist with technical insights. Monitor operational KPIs, SLAs, and service performance metrics and provide executive reporting. Coordinate with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams on operational issues and service improvements. Lead major incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning. Drive automation adoption, observability, monitoring, and operational efficiency initiatives. Ensure adherence to ITIL-based service management practices. Manage capacity planning, risk management, and operational readiness for new technologies. Develop and mentor network operations engineers and technical leads Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience in Network Operations, Network Engineering, or Managed Services. Strong knowledge of: Routing & Switching SD-WAN Wireless Networking Network Security WAN/LAN Operations Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as: LogicMonitor ThousandEyes Splunk Cisco Management Platforms Hands-on understanding of ServiceNow and ITSM processes. Experience managing global teams and customer-facing operations. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills. Automation experience Event Correlation and AIOps platforms Experience with large-scale enterprise network transformations. Technical Certifications CCNP / CCIE ITIL v4 Foundation or Managing Professional Cisco SD-WAN / Cisco Wireless / Strong R&S; background Hands-on experience Cloud Networking Certifications (Azure/AWS) Soft Skills Leadership and team management Experience in high-pressure / mission-critical environment.
