The Assistant Engineer – Biomedical is responsible for supporting the maintenance, installation, calibration, and safe operation of medical equipment in the hospital. The role ensures that all biomedical devices function efficiently and comply with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of biomedical equipment.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs of medical devices.
- Maintain records of equipment servicing, calibration, and performance.
- Ensure all equipment complies with safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors for AMC/CMC services and equipment repairs.
- Support troubleshooting of equipment faults and ensure minimal downtime.
- Assist in inventory management of biomedical equipment and spare parts.
- Train hospital staff on proper usage and basic handling of equipment.
- Participate in equipment audits, inspections, and accreditation processes (NABH, etc.).
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting as per hospital protocols.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering / Electronics Engineering
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in hospital biomedical maintenance

Skills & Competencies:

- Basic knowledge of biomedical equipment and electronics
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards (NABH guidelines preferred)
- Ability to work in a hospital environment with urgency and responsibility

Working Conditions:

- May require working in shifts or on-call duties
- Exposure to clinical areas like ICU, OT, Emergency
- Compliance with hospital safety and infection control protocols

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
