Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to teach students from Grades 7 to 9. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly through practical examples, problem-solving, and interactive teaching methods.

The teacher will be responsible for building students' mathematical foundation, improving their analytical and logical thinking skills, and preparing them for academic assessments.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Mathematics to students of Grades 7–9 according to the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare structured lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and study materials.
- Explain mathematical concepts in a simple, clear, and engaging manner.
- Develop students' logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Conduct regular class tests, assessments, and examinations.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify students who require additional support and conduct remedial or doubt-clearing sessions.
- Ensure timely completion of the syllabus and effective revision before examinations.
- Provide regular practice sessions to strengthen students' calculation and problem-solving skills.
- Guide students in mathematics projects, quizzes, competitions, and other academic activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive and interactive learning environment.




- Maintain accurate student performance and academic records.
- Communicate students' academic progress with parents and academic coordinators.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, academic meetings, school events, and co-curricular activities.
- Stay updated with modern teaching methods and digital learning tools.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mathematics / Mathematics Education / Science or a related field.
- B.Ed. is preferred/required as per school norms.
- Relevant teaching experience in a CBSE school.
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics for Grades 7–9.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Experience teaching Grades 7–9.
- Positive understanding of the CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns.
- Experience preparing worksheets, question papers, and revision materials.
