Permanent Part Time position available: 16 Hours a fortnight (2-week rotating roster)

Week 1:

Monday: 8am-12pm

Tuesday: 8am-1pm

Week 2:

Saturday: 8am-11am

Sunday: 8am-1pm

We are seeking a caring and reliable Support Worker to join our team supporting a friendly, positive client in his own home in Swannanoa. This role could be perfect for someone new to support work, returning to employment, or looking to wind down from a busy full-time career while still enjoying purposeful and meaningful work.

You'll be joining an experienced and welcoming team who work closely together to help our client live his best life following a spinal cord injury. Our client has a excellent sense of humour, enjoys getting out and about, and values support workers who are positive, respectful, and committed to helping him achieve his goals.

No two days are the same. You'll support the client with daily living tasks, personal care, bowel and bladder care, passive movements and exercises, meal preparation, household tasks, and laundry. More importantly, you'll play a key role in helping him maintain his independence, stay connected with his community, attend appointments, and pursue the activities and goals that matter most to him.

- A pay rate between $24.89 and $31.00 per hour, depending on your qualifications and experience

- Have a full driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Willing to work within the mission, vision, and values of the organisation
- Previous experience of support work and working with people with disabilities would be advantageous
