Job Description:

- Operate and set up Wire Cut EDM machines for manufacturing plastic injection moulds, mould inserts, cores, cavities, slides, and precision components.
- Read and understand mould drawings, tool drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
- Set the workpiece, fixtures, wire, and machine parameters according to the job requirements.
- Load and run CNC/Wire EDM programs and make necessary offsets and parameter adjustments.
- Perform accurate cutting of mould components as per drawing and required tolerances.
- Check dimensions using vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, profile projector, and other measuring instruments.
- Maintain required dimensional accuracy, profile accuracy, and surface finish.
- Coordinate with the mould/tool room, CNC, EDM, fitting, and quality departments.
- Identify and troubleshoot common Wire Cut EDM machining problems.
- Maintain machine condition, cleanliness,



consumables, and daily production records.
- Follow preventive maintenance and workplace safety procedures.
- Complete jobs within the planned production time while maintaining quality standards.

Required Skills:

- Experience in Wire Cut EDM operation for plastic injection moulds.
- Knowledge of mould components such as cores, cavities, inserts, slides, lifters, and electrodes.
- Ability to read and understand engineering/mould drawings.
- Knowledge of CNC Wire Cut programming and machine settings.
- Good knowledge of precision measurement and tolerances.
- Ability to work independently and meet production targets.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
