Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DataStage Engineer with strong expertise in IBM DataStage , ETL Development, Data Warehousing, SQL, and Multiple RDBMS platforms. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale ETL solutions, along with demonstrated technical leadership capabilities.

The candidate should have worked across multiple business domains and possess the ability to lead teams, drive technical discussions, and deliver high-quality data integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using IBM DataStage.
Analyze business requirements and convert them into scalable ETL designs.
Develop and optimize complex ETL workflows and data integration solutions.
Work in multiple domains project like Banking , Finance etc on DataStage Setting.
Lead ETL development teams and mentor junior developers.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
Work closely with business analysts, architects, DBAs, and stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Implement data quality and data validation processes.
Participate in architecture discussions and solution design activities.
Optimize ETL jobs and SQL queries for performance and scalability.




Skill Requirements

IBM DataStage

Strong hands-on experience in IBM DataStage.
Expertise in different DataStage features like -
Parallel Jobs/Sequence Jobs/Shared Containers/Job Sequencing/Change Data Capture (CDC)/DataStage Performance Tuning/Job Monitoring and Troubleshooting

Databases / RDBMS

Strong experience working with multiple databases such as:
Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL

SQL Skills

Ability to write complex SQL queries.

ETL & Data Warehousing

Strong understanding of:
ETL/ELT Concepts/Data Warehousing Architecture
Data Modeling

Additional ETL Tool Experience (Preferred)

Exposure to one or more of the following:
Informatica PowerCenter/SSIS/Talend/Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Other Requirements

Nice to Have

Cloud data platform experience (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Knowledge of Databricks, Spark, Hadoop.
DevOps/CI-CD experience for ETL deployments.
IBM DataStage Certification.
