- 10+ years of program/project management experience
- Demonstrable Equities trading domain expertise and understanding of the electronic trading landscape
- Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional change programs
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience operating within formal project governance frameworks
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
Qualification
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Domain Expertise
Understanding of order management systems, algorithmic trading, and post-trade processes
Professional Certifications
Project Management certification required — one or more of the following:
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- PRINCE2 Practitioner or MSP (Managing Successful Programmes)
- Agile/SAFe certification (e.g., SAFe Program Consultant, PMI-ACP)

Role & Responsibilities:
As part of the Global Execution Services book of work—covering strategic, long-term growth and incremental business change initiatives—we are seeking a results-oriented Program Manager with Equities domain expertise. The successful candidate will lead a key workstream delivering across multiple change initiatives.
Program Leadership & Governance
- Develop program strategies and plans, including stakeholder assessment, leadership alignment, change readiness, and end-user training
- Define short- and long-term goals, KPIs, and objectives; develop and execute against the operational plan
- Establish and maintain the appropriate framework, governance structure, and metrics to manage programs effectively
- Lead stakeholder engagements and workstreams in accordance with Nomura project management governance protocols and standards
Delivery Management
- Manage all delivery resources and activities within clearly defined, defensible project plans
- Provide oversight of project deliverables throughout the lifecycle, ensuring timely and quality execution
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, taking corrective action as required
Stakeholder & Business Engagement
- Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders across varying levels of seniority, including C-level executives
- Apply Equities domain expertise and industry knowledge to inform decision-making and guide delivery
- Work closely with global Business, Product Management, QA, and Development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Support business case development by leveraging existing senior relationships
